Sitting Bull College, of the Standing Rock Sioux Nation located in both North and South Dakota, invites you to write your name into its history.
Named for one of history’s greatest leaders, Sitting Bull College is constructing a new ultra-modern campus. With the new campus, we will prepare our graduates for a better quality of life through education and training, with emphasis on developing reservation-based businesses and services that will restore a secure and happy life for future generations.

The list of opportunities is extensive. The new Sitting Bull College campus covers a little over 140 acres of land and calls for a comprehensive plan including numerous facilities and complexes being built from the ground up. All buildings, grounds, streets and major interior amenities provide significant naming opportunities for our ever-growing circle of friends.
Our first academic building was completed in the winter of 2005 and is currently being used for math/science degree programs, technology training and public events for students and community members alike. The second academic building opened on the new campus in early spring 2006 and houses the early childhood and elementary education programs, including a daycare for students and community members.
Next, depending on funding, the college will build a $3.8 million Entrepreneurial Center that will house all the college's Business Administration programs (2 & 4 yr degrees), along with several office/retail spaces for small business startups. Soon after the Entrepreneurial Center, construction of Phase I of a Student Support Center will begin. Phase I of the Student Support Center will house a Developmental Education / Library complex and will cost an estimated $2.2 million.
NOTE: Phase II of the Student Support Center is scheduled to begin sometime after 2008.
